I do public speaking. Or I speak publicly – whichever you prefer. By this I don’t just mean I talk loudly on the bus, but then I think you know that.
If you’re interested in me speaking at your event (or appearing on a podcast or interview) then please contact me.
In 2014 I gave my own first TEDx talk – Travel with a Narrative – which was based in part around my experiences of researching my book Dancing Feat: One Man’s Mission to Dance Like a Colombian.
Prior to that, I was actually the host of TEDxWroclaw for numerous events, large and small. In fact I left the organisation in order to be free to give the above talk – you can’t speak at an event that you are also involved in organising.
In 2013 I performed as the over-educated – but ultimately useless – internet entrepreneur Dr Simon Chancer. This character is completely fictitious, and any resemblance to anyone living or dead is coincidence. Bar myself, of course. Also, my blood relatives. Neither of those things are coincidental in the slightest.
This is aside from my occasional appearances in my own videos on my YouTube channel which are less public speaking and more goofing about in front of a badly-positioned camera.
